William E. Weinberger

William Weinberger is a member of the Board of Directors of SAGE (Services and Advocacy for GLBT Elders), the country’s largest and oldest organization dedicated to improving the lives of LGBT older adults. He is one of the first two SAGE Board members from Los Angeles, California, and serves on the Board’s Finance Committee and Board Governance and Nominations Committee.
Bill is a partner in the law firm Parker Milliken Clark O’Hara & Samuelian, where his practice focuses on complex business and real estate litigation and employment matters, including trade secret misappropriation and wage and hour class actions.
Bill brings to SAGE years of experience on non-profit boards and in civic and professional affairs, including service as a founder and co-chair of the National LGBT Bar Association, president of the L.A. Lesbian and Gay Law Association, treasurer and director on the GLAAD Board of Directors, director on the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center Board of Directors, President of the Congregation Kol Ami Board of Trustees, and member of the California State Bar Committee on Administration of Justice. Bill was elected to and served on the Elected L.A. Charter Reform Commission and also served as a gubernatorial appointee on the California Law Revision Commission. His pro bono activities have included work as a cooperating attorney for the ACLU of Southern California and Lambda Legal.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Bill received his B.A. from Cornell University and his J.D. from Stanford Law School. He moved to Los Angeles in 1982, where he resides with his spouse and their son.
