Christina Da CostaOnline Media Manager
Christina Da Costa is the Online Media Manager for SAGE and The National Resource Center on LGBT Aging (NRC), the country's first federally funded resource center dedicated to improving the quality of services and supports for the country's older lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) older adults.
Da Costa previously served as SAGE's Public Education Manager. In this role, she oversaw SAGE's online media strategy, creating and producing print and digital media campaigns to promote the organization's breadth of services and programs for LGBT adults in the New York City community.
Currently, Da Costa manages SAGE and the NRC's organizational websites, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter pages, which has resulted in increased brand awareness for SAGE and the NRC. She also provides video and audio production for both sites, as well as graphic design and web analytics. Her expertise and knowledge includes Adobe Flash, Photoshop, Publisher, InDesign, Illustrator, Google Analytics, web design, graphic design, and extensive HTML code.
Da Costa earned her Bachelor's of Arts from New York University, graduating summa cum laude with a major in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy. She also is the co-creator and co-author of Thirty Bucks a Week, a food blog that chronicles the attempts to live on $15 worth of groceries per person, every week in Brooklyn, NY.
