Director of Institutional Givingjreinhardt@sageusa.org
Jill Reinhardt is the Director of Institutional Giving at Services & Advocacy for GLBT Elders (SAGE), the country’s largest and oldest organization dedicated to improving the lives of LGBT older adults.
A member of SAGE’s dynamic Development team, Jill oversees a diverse portfolio of more than 50 funding relationships that comprise 70 percent of the organization’s revenue, including significant grants from the Ford Foundation, the Harry and Jeannette Weinberg Foundation, Walmart and several other LGBT and aging funders. Since arriving at SAGE, she has created and implemented strategies and systems to build new, and sustain existing, relationships with funders and supporters.
Prior to SAGE, Jill was a Development Officer for the founding division of The New School, now The New School for Public Engagement. As one member of the two-person development team staffing the division, she played a key role in institutional fundraising, individual giving, annual campaigns and special events. Before joining at The New School, Jill spent two years at J.C. Geever as a development consultant where she simultaneously managed institutional giving portfolios for multiple clients—many youth development organizations and education institutions—with operating budgets ranging from $200,000 to $9,000,000.
