Scott FrenchDirector of Institutional Giving
Scott French is the Director of Institutional Giving at Services & Advocacy for GLBT Elders (SAGE). In this role Scott oversees all of SAGE’s government and foundation funding. Previously, Scott was SAGE’s Director of Institutional Giving from 2008-2010 where he served as the Project Manager for the development of the federally-funded National Resource Center on LGBT Aging. From 2010-2012, Scott was Program Manager for SAGECAP (Caring and Preparing), SAGE’s innovative national LGBT caregiving program which received a Caregiver Friendly Award from Today’s Caregiver and the 2011 GLAAD Media Award for Social Media. While at SAGE Scott has also served as the Project Manager for development of The SAGE Center, the nation’s first senior center devoted to LGBT older adults, and was the Conference Co-Chair for SAGE’s 5th National Conference, The Future of Aging is in Our Hands. Scott also authored Inclusive Questions for Older Adults: A Practical Guide to Collecting Data on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity for the National Resource Center on LGBT Aging.
Scott holds a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a Masters of Fine Arts from Columbia University.
