The Affordable Care Act & LGBT Older Adults

May 22, 2013
4:00 – 5:15 PM
Pfizer New York Headquarters
235 East 42nd Street

A special panel with Pfizer & SAGE.

Event Details

Pfizer & SAGE are pleased to invite you to a panel discussion on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and its impact on older Americans, in particular LGBT older adults. The ACA has the potential to dramatically improve health care for LGBT older people by expanding coverage, strengthening consumer rights and protections, improving data collection efforts and more. Join us to learn more about the ACA and what's in it for LGBT older adults.

An informal reception will follow the panel.

The panel will be moderated by Catherine Thurston, Senior Director of Programs at SAGE, and will feature the following speakers:

  • Raul Damas, Senior Director of US Policy, Pfizer
  • Joe Baker, President, Medicare Rights Center
  • Jay Laudato, Executive Director, Callen-Lorde Community Center

RSVP required. All guests must bring a government-issued ID to Pfizer Headquarters to be admitted to the building.

Can't make it in person? To listen in, call 866.804.6929 (+1 857.350.1675 for international callers), and enter passcode 883 301 44.
