Reveal For Seven-Story, 82-Unit Affordable Senior Building Planned At 775 Crotona Park North, Tremont
By Reid Wilson
The city’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HDP), HELP USA, the state’s Homes and Community Renewal, and Services and Advocacy for GLBT Elders (SAGE) are the developers. Some of the same developers are also building the affordable senior residential project planned at 110 St. Edwards Street, in Fort Greene. That 145-unit building is set to be the nation’s largest LGBT senior housing development. As for Crotona Senior Residences, construction is expected to be complete by 2019. HELP USA’s existing two-story facility must first be demolished.
