Every story has at least two lives. The life of the person it represents.
And the life of the person who hears the story—and is changed forever.

We know that LGBT older people have survived a lifetime of discrimination and witnessed
monumental changes throughout this country's history. Many have helped pave the way for the
social changes we now enjoy. And many still experience discrimination and stigma in their families
and in the long-term care system. SAGE wants to collect and share those stories.
To launch SAGE Story, please send us a response to the following question:
What does marriage equality mean to you?
See others stories, and then submit your own. Together, your voices will be a powerful force for change.
You can submit your story in writing, or as a photo or a video. Follow the steps below.
