What is SAGECents?
SAGECents is a digital wellness platform made specifically for LGBTQ+ elders to increase financial stability and reduce economic stress.
By creating a free account, registrants instantly access tools, information, and resources that are curated for the LGBTQ+ experience to help elders make the financial decisions that are right for their life. This includes information such as what benefits are available through Medicare, how to create a health proxy and a living will, and tips for increasing credit scores.

NEW! Building Housing Knowledge for Financial Freedom
We know that finances and housing go hand-in-hand. That’s why SAGECents is expanding our housing resources in partnership with SAGE’s National LGBTQ+ Housing Initiative (NHI).
Recognizing the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals in securing stable housing, SAGECents is expanding and enhancing resources for users, whether they be homeowners, renters, or seeking long-term care options. The all-new Housing Resources Survey provides a customized report that lists helpful resources based on a user’s living situation, housing goals, and current needs or interests.
WHY IS THIS SO IMPORTANT FOR OUR ELDERS?
50% of single, LGBTQ+ elders believed that they will have to work well beyond retirement age, compared to 27% of single, non-LGBTQ+ elders. On top of this, 51% of LGBTQ+ elders are very or extremely concerned about simply having enough money to live on, compared to 36% of their non-LGBTQ+ peers.
If this sounds like you or someone you know, SAGECents may be able to help.
CELEBRATING SAGECENTS SUCCESS!
To date, SAGECents has served nearly 3,000 users with impressive results! 46% have increased savings, 58% have reduced debt and over 50% of users have increased their credit score. We encourage people to sign-up and reap the rewards of financial wellness.
WHAT ARE CURRENT USERS SAYING?
“[SAGECents] has been a lifesaver for me, especially during the pandemic. Having to cut back on things, staying within my budget. I have cut back over 50% on a lot of bills – I don’t have any big bills, vehicles are paid off. I’ve been working more on my savings, having more saving in there, which I do have now.”
“It is a very comforting feeling to know that SAGECents is there. Sure, there are things I already know, because if not I wouldn’t have been able to suffer a loss and retire, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t need nudges to stay on track and encouragement to keep moving down the correct path. Never underestimate the motivation, validation and encouragement that SAGECents can provide to a person, especially on a “not so good” day.”
