SAGE is preparing to launch a national telephonic support group for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) caregivers. The caregiver support group will provide a safe and nurturing space for caregivers in our community to build relationships, share information and resources, vent frustrations and gain emotional support. Whether you are caring for a parent, partner or friend, your well-being is essential to those you care for. National Support Group for LGBT Older Adults SAGE is preparing to launch a national telephonic support group for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) older adults. The support group will provide a safe and nurturing space for LGBT older adults in our community to build relationships, talk about their experiences, gain emotional support and overcome isolation. Additionally, the support group will share valuable information and resources available to LGBT older adults across the country. If you are interested in joining the National Caregiver Support Group or the National Support Group for LGBT Older Adults please contact Amanda Umhoefer at aumhoefer@sageusa.org or via phone at 212-741-2247 x294. Day and time of the group is still being determined. All members of the group and issues discussed in the group will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
