Please join SAGEHELP USA, and distinguished supporters, as we break ground on the Crotona Senior Residences. One of the first of its kind in New York State, Crotona Senior Residences will feature 84 LGBTQ+-friendly affordable apartments for individuals aged 62 and older.

Across the nation, LGBTQ+ older people have a difficult time finding housing that is both affordable and welcoming. This is compounded in New York City by the dramatic shortage of affordable rental housing across the city. The Crotona Senior Residences will be the first LGBTQ+-friendly, affordable apartments for New Yorkers in the Bronx. In honor of International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, as well as May being Older Americans Month, SAGE and HELP USA are thrilled to be breaking ground on a model community for this kind of inclusive housing across the country.
