SAGE Welcomes Loren Ostrow to Its Board of Directors


[New York, New York] – SAGE, the world’s largest and oldest organization dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTQ+ elders, is proud to welcome Loren Ostrow to its Board of Directors. Loren, a highly respected LGBTQ+ community leader and philanthropist, brings with him a wealth of experience in project development and management. As the Chief Executive Officer and President of Living Out, a Palm Springs LGBTQ-centered 55+ community, Loren is well-versed in the importance of safe and affirming housing options for LGBTQ+ elders.

Loren has a proven leadership track record, serving as the President of Silver Slipper Gaming, Bossier Casino Venture, and principal in KOAR International. With expertise spanning major commercial real estate acquisitions, developments, and management, including casinos, hotels, shopping centers, and restaurants, Loren’s vast experience brings valuable insights to SAGE’s initiatives.

A dedicated member of the LGBTQ+ community, Loren is renowned for his active involvement in and generous philanthropic supports of a wide range of LGBTQ+ causes. He has served on the Boards of Directors for the Los Angeles LGBTQ+ Center and the National Gay & Lesbian Task Force, contributing over 20 years of dedicated service to the Los Angeles LGBTQ+ Center.

Loren holds a B.A. degree with Magna Cum Laude honors from the University of Rochester, an MBA in finance and accounting from the same institution, and a J.D. degree from Stanford Law School.

Upon joining SAGE’s Board, Loren Ostrow remarked: “I am delighted to join the Board of Directors of SAGE.
