Where: SAGE Center Midtown, The SAGE Center, 15th Floor 305 7th Avenue (map & directions)
This four-part workshop will introduce participants to the art of storytelling and the SAGE Story program. The class will explore what makes a story effective, as well as the importance of stories in our lives and in creating social movements. This workshop will also provide an encouraging and constructive space for participants to practice telling a story of their own in writing. The first two workshops will focus on storytelling fundamentals, with the last two classes focused on personal essay writing and sharing stories with other participants. This workshop is FREE, but registration is mandatory. Register online or call 212-741-2247.
