Throughout 2016, SAGE demonstrated its rock-solid commitment to a world in which LGBTQ+ elders are valued and celebrated and have ample opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives as they age. Despite historic advances toward fairness for LGBTQ+ people and elders, there is so much more work that needs to be done. This is even more true with a new Administration in Washington, D.C. whose early actions have included numerous steps hostile to LGBTQ+ and ally communities.
