The SAGE 2022 annual report focuses on Moving Forward. With a rich history of serving LGBTQ+ elders, SAGE ventured into new territory in 2022. At our SAGE Awards and Gala, we unveiled our bold new strategic objectives: a five-year plan and ten-year vision to support LGBTQ+ elders globally and across the U.S. This roadmap aims to reach and uplift marginalized elders, particularly those who are BIPOC, transgender, non-binary, and or living in rural areas. SAGE will continue advocating at local, state, and federal levels to ensure the well-being of LGBTQ+ elders. Through new divisions, partnerships, and a Center of Excellence, SAGE aims to expand programs, services, and representation, striving for sustainable models that empower our community as they age. As we launch this new strategic direction in 2023, our mission remains steadfast: to ensure every community member thrives as they age.
