SAGE Responds to Removal of LGBTQ+ and HIV Resources from Federal Websites
As of January 23, LGBTQ+ and HIV resources have been deleted from several federal websites including the White House, the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the U.S. Centers for Disease and Control Prevention. Other terms referring to LGBTQ+ identities have also been censored and/or erased on these websites. Click here to learn more about this.
While the very existence of our community is under attack, we refuse to be invisible. SAGE will continue to share important data and resources for our community, and will continue to center the voices of our LGBTQ+ elders. Our National Resource Center is still available, with resources to support our LGBTQ+ elders, caregivers, allies and community members.
If you are an LGBTQ+ elder that wants to share your story of visibility and activism, please join us here.
